Alcove Angling Club is a friendly fishing club, situated in the West Country, offering excellent fishing in Avon and Gloucestershire for all types of fishermen on a wide range of fishing lakes and rivers.
The club started in 1962. It was run by a Mr Green and the Bailiffs were Charlie Coggins who has sadly passed away and Bill Smith who is still a member and because of all the work he has put in over the years is now a life member. He was the president, The Chairman then was Harry Morris, Some of the committee members then were Dave Beddle, Dave Lander and Dave Crook who again is a life member due to all the work he has done in the past.
