Fished Margarets today Very cold, Georges quite busy, 7 anglers there when I arrived. One other guy on Margarets.
Arrvied 1pm fished 4 ft from margins furthest end from car park and 4 ft from island inbetween the two branches. Fishing half size mainline dumbells, active-8 and Cell. Very small PVA bag, bloodworm pellets. Didn't have a touch in 3hours. Others guys I spoke to on Georges had a few roach and nothing much else.

Water beginning to cool slightly now, fish backing off too much feed, corn starting to work, delicate presentation needed for big bream.

The Clamp
I decided to fish The Clamp this bank holiday (31/08/09), it turns out i made the right decision, i bagged up at 68lb's. I achieved this on the tip fishing from Peg 8, all caught on hair rig pellet. The conditions were quite cloudy and windy, but i enjoyed myself anyhow. Overall The Clamp is fishing very well at the moment.
